Venice is famous for being easy on the eye, and the Generator is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a great view. Located just off the main island, you’ll have the chance to take in Venice in all its glory from across the water (don’t worry, the main island is just minutes away). The staff are great, always ready to go the extra mile if you need anything, and according to one past guest ‘the interiors are beautiful’ so it’s easy to forget that you’re travelling on a budget.

Generator Venice is a design hotel-hostel located on Giudecca Island just one stop from Piazza San Marco.
Guests can choose from shared dorms to private rooms, offering something for everyone.
Complete with 24-hour reception, free wifi, cafe, bar and views of the Grand Canal.

GROUPS
Any reservation of 10 people or more per night will be considered a group with different terms and conditions. Groups reservations can only be made through our reservations team, and Generator reserves the right to cancel it otherwise

Breakfast including hot drink, croissant, oj at 5.5€ per adult; Breakfast including hot drink, OJ, fresh fruit, fresh pastry, fresh sandwich ham&cheese/veggie, fruit, water, yogurt at 7€ per adult and from 3.5€ per child
PET
We would welcome a dog on property but only when staying in a private room, and subject to a € 25.00 fee per dog per Stay. Only Dog under 30lbs/14kg
Don't forget to bring a valid passport with you, this is mandatory for all non EU guests or valid identification documents for EU guests. As per government regulations, this needs to be the physical passport/ID, photos or photo copies will not be accepted.

Only reachable by vaporetto. Great view from the front area. Two sockets for each bed would have been nice. But otherwise this is a good modern hostel, staff was always there to help out.

For the price that I payed I honestly expected more. I stayed in a female dorm for about 10 people and there was only one bathroom and shower. It could be cleaner also. The staff was ok, you could see they didn’t want to be there. BUT the coffee and the croissant were so good!

very unpersonal hostel, staffed with people who dont want to be there. the amount of showers are just not sufficient (two per floor per gender, one floor consists of roughly 80-100 beds). it was kinda clean and a good location. lugagge storage costs extra
