They canceled my reservation right before I arrived (within the check-in time). No information about it and no explanation why. When I arrived they tried to ignore the bell. So I stood there at 22:30 in Guatemala city, which is not the safest place. So I had to make noise to get their attention. The staff member that I summoned by this noise was extremely aggressive, to the point I thought he would be physically attacking me. He wouldn't tell me that he canceled my reservation or why.

Cooles Hostel mit angenehmer und moderner Ausstattung (Vorhänge für Privatsphäre am Bett, Lounge, Küche) mit guten vibes :)
Zentrale Lage, alles fußläufig erreichbar.
Leider zur Straße wirklich sehr laut, aber mit Ohropax okay.
Der Chef ist super entspannt und freundlich - cheers!

Das Amaya Hostel ist ein ganz tolles Hostel in der historisch, politisch und kulturell sehr interessanten Zona 1 von Guatemala City. Die wichtigen Orte des historischen Zentrums sind nah, es gibt eine lustige Bar direkt in der nähe. Guatemala City macht hier spaß.
Der Besitzer des Hostel ist sehr sehr nett und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Bei Interesse erklärt er gerne viel zu der Geschichte und Politik Guatemala(City)s.
