It was one of my best stays in Colombia. You basically live on a farm with nice local fruits and super sweet dogs and cats. It is outside the city but you can take a TukTuk from the center very cheap. There are plenty of hikes you can do around the farm. The host is also very friendly and also speaks english, because she was a former teacher.

This is the kind of hostel you wanna gatekeep a bit because it's so peaceful, quiet and beautiful, but it was too good not to share. the facilities are basic, so if you are looking for luxury this isnt it. it's location is out of the way, definitely stock up before arriving, but i loved it surrounded by nature. theres a kitchen in a gazebo with hammocks which is a great communal area. there werent many people there and jaime was really lovely but mostly kept to himself. muy tranquilo!

We had a really lovely time at Los Gulungos Lodge. It is nestled in the hills outside of Jardin and is stunningly beautiful. The facilities are basic, we stayed in the dorms and there is a gazebo with a kitchen and hammocks where we hung out a lot. Cooking over an open fire was a joy.. Alena was a very hospitable host, she made us coffee every morning and let us try some of the Gulupe fruit they grow here. And I can't forget to mention all the amazing birds that frequent the property.
