This Spanish Colonial Estate is a welcome relief for many travelers who come to Central America, and it is known for its incredible attention to detail. The main purpose of the Spanish colonial scenic hostel is to raise additional funds for Paramedics For Children International.
Paramedics for Children is a humanitarian organization serving the Mayan-Chorti locals with disaster relief, education, and medical care services. PFCI assists regardless of religious beliefs, gender, or ethnic background. The Hacienda Hostel hopes to create a welcoming environment and enable a more immersive experience while being near the Mayan Ruins. All revenue raised from the Hacienda Hostel goes back directly to the nonprofit, hence the phrase 'allow your vacation to become your donation.'

We're located exactly 1,100 meters from the center of town, takes around 8-10 min walk. If you're looking for a nice getaway, moment of peace, enjoy the scenic view of green gardens and the singing of birds, we are the perfect hostel for you. Once you come through those gates you become a member of the family. Nevertheless, this doesn't mean you can't enjoy the fun and nightlife in town.

Hacienda La Esperanza Hostel, 'El Alamo', consists of two floors. Once you step into the first floor of El Alamo, common area (hanging out spot), you enter the well-designed diversion area. This setting consists of all the entertainment you will need during your stay. From Spanish Colonial antiques to the well-arranged furniture, you will forget you are in the 21st century. This area includes an 82-inch tv with soundbar speakers, ideal for watching sports games or movies. Excellent area to work remotely if you need high-speed Wi-Fi. You will also find the shared kitchen, equipped with the essentials such as sink, microwave, a two-burner stove, a small fridge to store your beverages, and a water dispenser. Other stuff includes a foosball, air hockey, ping-pong table, as well as some card and board games if you wish to bond with your neighbor. Walking upstairs you will notice the exquisite Talavera stairwell imported directly out of Honduras to showcase the genuine residence that is yet to wait on the upper floor. Once you walk in, you notice the spacious communal leeway, the wooden lockers to store your belongings, you can either bring your own lock or we can provide you one (extra fee). There are 6 bunk beds and 5 fully equipped private bathroom with hot shower and free toiletries (toilet paper, soap). A barbecue can be found at Hacienda La Esperanza, along with a terrace, access to the balcony, as well as the rooftop wings. with a great view of the green scenery surroundings of the Hacienda.

We have two dogs in-site, Koda a Golden Retriever, and Beagley a Mixed rescued dog. Very friendly pets and would probably become your sweet faithful companions during your stay. We guarantee, you will love your stay at Hacienda La Esperanza.

Cancellation Policy: 2 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
