Bed bugs, bitten in my sleep, roommates were kind to help. I’ve red marks on my leg & foot. owners responsive initially then stopped, although they NEVER responded via phone but very slowly on email .it’s a house which I wouldn’t mind but I dont feel cleanliness or sanitation play a big role here so it cost me. One of the ”rooms” is sectioned off with a sheet.Won’t return due to the difficulty of checking in, spoke communication, & most importantly the bite from a small brown, round bug

Pictures do not accurately represent the hostel at the time of this review. I booked a dorm but it was actually a living room made up of an encampment of 6 bunk beds with blankets used for walls, like a tent. That being said, I heard every persons footsteps walking right next to my bunk and every conversation, especially some Jamaican dude who decided to have a full blown phone call at 6am with his strong accent and no consideration for other guests. Its safe but not a place for light sleepers

The location is great. There are so many good food options within walking distance. Hot and good water pressure in the shower. I had very funny and interesting converstions with other guests and volunteers. I noticed quite a bit of international travelers that came to tour the states or work seasonally. What an amazing experience. Great vibes
