Hostel B47

We have re-opened Hostel B47 that accomodates 220 people. Rooms are immaculate, spacious that can accomodate single/couple/groups upon reservation and can accomodate large groups. The Lounge serves all day light meals and beverages. We have every day happy hour at the lounge bistro between 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Hostel B47 also has communal kitchen with sofas and a dining room, the perfect place to meet people!

The walls of our Hostel and the rooms were artistically hand-painted by 2 artists namely Brandon Roberts and Tiago Forte. It's a must-see work of art!

Hostel B47 situated in the historical house Heilsuverndarstöðin and this house was built in 1952 and it took 7 years in the making. The architect of the building is Einar Sveinsson one of most known architect and he had a large part in forming Reykjavik city center.

We have a huge free parking area!

Hostel B47 Terms & Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 2 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 15:00 to 22:00 .
Check out latest 11:00 .

Hostel Collect but customer MUST provide a valid credit card .
Hostel will pre-charged the customer 48 hours prior to arrival in order to confirm the reservation.
Reservation will be cancelled if the card is invalid or insufficient fund and no alternative card is provided within 24/48 hours.

Breakfast not included. Breakfast can be purchased on the site.
