BASIC FOOD AVAILABLE, ACCEPTS VISA/CREDIT CARDS (MANY HOSTELS IN NIGARAGUA DO NOT), FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL OWNER CONS: UNABLE TO GET IN AFTER HOURS, DOOR BELL AND LOCKED GATE ONLY, COLD SHOWERS (NORMAL FOR CA), RECEPTIONIST DIDN'T SPEAK ANY ENGLISH AND COULDN'T FIND MY HOSTAL WORLD BOOKING WHEN I ARRIVED.

the hotel is well maintained and was kept very nice and tidy. The rooms have AC and the staff can organize a nice dinner. It is very close to the airport. The only complaint I have is when the staff organized a airport taxi for me. They tried to make me pay 15 dollars for a 5 min ride. This is an unacceptable price for Managua and I feel it is part of hospitality to get a good price for the guest instead of ripping him off for the taxi driver. Or at least a fair price for both!
