Selina Foz

I have made very good experience with Selina Hostel in Foz. The staff was extremly nice, they even helped me out with some SIM-Card problems, which was not there job to do. Thank you so much for that. Otherwise Selina ist very clean and offers a lot of comfy spots to relax. I liked the music ;-) Summing up, I would definitly recommend a stay there!

Overall definitely a solid option to stay if you wanna get to the cataratas. As all the Selina’s, rooms are very well designed and the interior is nice. Breakfast is awesome! Atmosphere was alright but not great. The pool was kind of dirty, so we didn’t wanna use it… Also we hit a bump when checking out. We had booked another night on arrival as we spontaneously decided to stay longer and paid for both nights at reception. However, something apparently got screwed up and when we wanted to check out we basically had to prove that we had already paid everything because apparently the booking didn’t seem to appear in the Selina system and as we had booked one of the nights at the reception, we didn’t have any proof that we had made the second booking - besides my credit card account. These things happen and it wouldn’t have been a big deal to me if the staff would have acted about it differently. They didn’t explain what happened, asked the same questions over and over again even though I showed them my credit card overview where the withdrawn money and the name Selina appeared. Made us feel like we were some kind of criminals. And in the end no one even apologized even though this definitely wasn’t our fault… left a bad taste to the whole experience

Amazing hostel, probably the best one I've ever stayed at. Only minus: my food got stolen out of the fridge. I guess the hostel can't do anything about it, but it was kinda frustrating.
