Hobi Hostel

We're a hostel located in the southern part of the city that tries to preserve the older buildings, bringing it together with a lot of ecofriendly measures. We plant our own food (soon to be expanded to all our guests and community), compost all the organic waste, separate and discard the recyclables only to the City's specific recyclable trash collection.

In our district you'll have easy access to (and from) Aeroporto de Congonhas, Bus stations to the beach and other cities, parks (we're close to 4 different parks, including the famous Ibirapuera). The houses are old houses that, in response to the strong construction speculation in the area, were adapted and (re)used for hosteling purposes. All the rooms are big, with plenty of green areas (we have 3 gardens that now belong to the permanent environmental protection program). The kitchen is equipped make you feel like your in your own home, even the dishes are vintage.
Our neighborhood is one of these magical places. You are literally minutes away from all the nigh life in Moema (one of the city's bohemian areas), Vila Olimpia, Itaim and Brooklin (more of a business center) but, here, you get to wake up to the sound of the birds. There are several small restaurants (that are also reusing the old houses), thrift shops, super markets (big and small), famous bars, night clubs and twice a week we have 'feiras' (traditional street market, were fruits,vegetables and some food are sold in the streets). In fact one of them, every Saturday, starts right at our door.
We offer options of dorms, private dorms with shared bathroom or private dorms with private bathrooms. Please, reach us if you are a smaller group, or an individual, we have might give you a big discount on your reservation for the privates. Our Wi-Fi connection is from 200 up to 500MB, which absolutely will be a plus if you need to work. Also, you can work under the shadow of the trees.

Hobi hostel is a family run business. We're locals (born and raised) and are more than happy to recommend places out of the touristy. We'll show you what So Paulo really is. All of that with a granted great night of sleep.
