Tucked into the mountain jungle and sitting on a river, La Casa del Pozo Azul encompasses all the beauty and diversity of Minca, Colombia.
This serene gateway is nestled under the canopy, about a beautiful 20-minute (2.1km) walk from the Minca town center. It is burrowed in the depths of La Sierra Nevada De Santa Marta, the tallest costal mountain in the world! This quaint hostal provides a relaxing home base for all those coming to experience the rich nature of Minca.

Location is as key as it is to you as it is to us. Our love for Minca at La Casa del Pozo Azul comes from its infinite allure, from the small to the grand. The location of this hostel was chosen to be slightly off the beaten path so that the scenery is right in front of you and the adventure is all around you. Not only can you hear tranquil sounds of the running river, but you can also go right in with only a few seconds away! It?s truly hard to beat a cooling dip in the Caribbean mountains on a hot, humid day! All around the hostal is abundant wildlife with a vast array of different species of birds and other animals. Day and night, only the soothing sounds of the jungle can be heard.
