Kawili hostel is located in between Cloud 9 and the cozy town General Luna. The hostel features a 12-bed dorm with WIFI, two showers, two WC, AC, billiards, swimming pool, and a lush garden. We are located 20 meters from the best beach in General Luna and there are several good surf spots out front.
The bar opens every day at 7:30 am and serves breakfast, sandwiches and cold drinks. Kawili is a place with a tranquil atmosphere. It's like an oasis, where you're still close to events yet it's quiet and relax, not a party hostel.
Our location makes it easy to also go to other resorts and restaurants for dinner.

Food, location, atmosphere, owners, pool, people, staff, room, toilets,beds was all awesome ! But Maybe one more bin for not paper upstairs, and maybe more activities! If its just 2 per week its enough! The putting things for the soap in the showers are pretty rusty dirty, maybe just put a normal wooden board! And tell your visitors that they need to close the maindoor, too, so many didnt close it and the aircon just isnt effective then😄 the rest was really good! Thank you! I will be back! :)

Great hostel! Nice rooms (bungalows and dorm with AC) and really cool chill out area to relax and have a beer before going out! Serve good breakfast. The management, Pam and Bjorn are super nice and helped organize tours, surfing lessons, gear- and moto-rent. Also they've gone out to dinner and drinks with us. I felt very welcome and a lively mix of European surfers come here! This hostel is the perfect size. I definitely recommend to stay here! Thanks Pam and Bjorn!

Wouldn’t recommend for solo female traveller. There is no lock on the main door to the bedroom and only 3 curtains around the bed. There were strange people knocking in the middle of the night and on my last night someone brought a dog into the room at 2am. Got no sleep at all before my flight.
It says it’s not a party hostel and no parties past 10pm but there is nobody to police this and nobody to ask if you have a problem in the night.
Shame as the staff are very nice and location is great
