Skye Basecamp is an Independent Hostel run by climbers who also run Skye Guides mountain guiding company for the Cuillin mountains & rock climbing days out. The perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye with all mountain & coastal attractions within easy reach. We are based in the South Skye capital of Broadford with amazing views across Broadford Bay & the mighty Beinn na Caillich. With everything you might need just 2 minutes walk away- 24 hour fuel station, large supermarket, pubs, restaurants & boutique shops & away from tour bus madness of Portree.
We are two minutes from the shore for a sunset walk with otters & seals or a swim!
Our staff are all well genned up with local knowledge and always happy to help so just ask...
The bus top is 200m walk away if you are without transport & the tour buses will collect from our front door if you book a day trip or tour.

Cancellation policy: 72 hours before arrival.

We do not accept children under the age of 16.

Check out is 10am .
If you wish to check-in outwith these times, please contact us directly. Reception opening hours vary seasonally.

Full payment required upon booking
This property may pre-authorise your card before arrival.

Strictly no smoking inside the building there are two designated smoking areas outside.
