A Dongdaemun is one of the leading place for fashion Industry. Not only Dongdaemun Fabric markets but also lots of Fashion malls are gathered in Dongdaemun. Especially Korean product such as clothes, shoes , accessories and other goods have best quality in the world.

Dongdaemun Design Plaza is recently open and hold ‘Seoul Fashion Week’ in every year.Now Dongdaemun is known for a mecca of fashion in Korea. Dongdaemun, where you can shop and tour at once.Dongdaemun is named after back to Joseon Dynasty. It was first designated ‘Heung – In –Ji –Mun (a.k.a hunginjimun, 흥인지문)’ in the Joseon Dynasty palace, but Dongdaemun is easy to remember to the people. Last 2008, Dongdaemun Stadium tear down to build the Dongdaemun Design Plaza(a.k.a DDP).
And grand open last 2014. Dongdaemun has been changed the environment and now is famous for DDP architecture and event like a exhibitions(Domestic/International) and also Fashion mall as a shopping area.

There are a lot of people crowded in fashion malls such as Doota, Lotte-fitin, Goodmorning city, Max-style etc. and they open 24hrs(except, certain holiday) so you can enjoy the night shopping.
