Hostal Schilling is located in the city of El Calafate, gateway to Glacier National Park and only 80 km from Perito Moreno glacier.
We are located in the center of the town, just two blocks from the main avenue.
Front Desk is Open from 08:00hs to 00:00hs every day.
Sophie, Agustin and Ramiro will help you in everything you need by helping you take care of your budget. so you can enjoy Patagonia, its steppe, its forest and its glaciers.
Also if you need a transfer from the airport, we can help you.
Bed sheets and linen are provided and all rooms come with security lockers and bathrooms with 24hr hot showers.

Tidy and clean hostel with comfortable beds, warm blankets, friendly staff, a good breakfast and a nice patio. My dorm had its own bathroom which was nice but also meant you had to wait if somebody else in the room was using it. Unfortunately they don’t rent out padlocks for the lockers but there’s a hardware store close by if need be. :)

We had a really nice stay - the staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is one of the best we had during our trip. The only downside: the rooms are a little bit older and badly soundproofed.
