Hotel Il Mercante di Venezia

Everything was great! The room was nice and clean and we paid almost the same for a double room than we would have for a dorm room somewhere else! The staff was very friendly and helpful and i can definitely recommend it, would come back any time!

I was amazed at how simple it was to get from the train station to this location. If you are dealing with luggage, are a 'newbie' to Venice or just don't want to hassle with finding your way around, this is a great place. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. Both with property issues but as well as answering questions about things like where to buy ACTV tickets and the like. It is an older hotel which for me was a good thing but for others might not? I would absolutely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. The big bonus was the helpfull staff.
