Cafe Cerveza is a relaxing hostel and cafe, were you can fully enjoy the Popoyo atmosphere.
We are located literally 10 meters from the beach on the south part of playa Popoyo, and close to playa Santana.
Cafe Cerveza is also a social enterprise, donated by a Canadian entrepreneur, with the goal to allow local community members to have an opportunity to benefit from the tourism development in their lands.
The project started as a bar/restaurant and through the help of visitors like you, we have been able to grow into a hostal.
Popoyo is home to some of the best surfing spots in the area and our hostal is the place if you are coming surfing, look us up on facebook and google maps, we are a local favorite.
Cafe Cerveza Policies & Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 12:00 to 18:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included.
No curfew.
Pet friendly.
Child friendly.
Non smoking.

Small, relaxed hostel on the beach. No 5 minutes walk to beginners bay. Of course a bit sandy due to the proximity to the beach. The 4 bed dorms can be a bit hot at the beginning of the night, but in a pinch you can sleep in the hammock outside. The food in the restaurant is very good.

Habe meinen Aufenthalt geliebt! Die Leute sind alle mega nett und hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Hostel liegt direkt am Strand und bietet gutes Essen. Zum Surfen perfekt. Nur die Zimmer können nachts recht heiß sein. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Nice place, friendly and helpful staff, simple but comfortable, what I did not like: everything is on extra cost (even coffee for breakfast) and food could be more/what it says on the menu (like bread with omelette, fruits on the pancakes and not only a few slices of banana). But to justify: its everywhere a bit more expensive in that area.
