First the positive things: the location is very good, the subway is close by and the CBD is in walking distance. But the rest of the hostel is not so nice, staff didn’t speak English and were a bit unfriendly. The bathroom is not very clean and my room was very stinky. I found way better hostels in China for half the price...

The location of the hostel is perfect! You can walk through the city center and even walk to the boarder to Hongkong from there. Our dorms were really nice, every bed has its own safe and a curtain, so you get some privacy. The bathroom was really clean. Only drawback, there was only squat toilet in the bathroom, as well as in the common bathrooms.The common area was not so nice, full of stuff and not really clean. The room for drying clothes was too humid and full, better use the dryer.

Awesome location for a really good price. Close to public transportation and city center as well as HK border. Very clean and rather quiet rooms. They even had laundry facilities which I did not need due to my short stay. Would definitely recommend to people staying for a few days but also met people who were living there long-term and who were very satisfied.
