Rana Roja Lodge

Es hat uns sehr gefallen in der Lodge, man schläft tatsächlich wie im Dschungel. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Englischkenntnisse sind allerdings sehr schlecht das macht die Verständigung nicht ganz einfach. Man ist in der Lodge fern dem Trubel der im Dorf herrscht muß allerdings immer ein Wassertaxi bestellen wenn man dorthin möchte und das kostet pro Fahrt und Person 3 Dollar. Aber wir würden beim nächsten mal uns wieder für diese Lodge entscheiden da die Vorteile überwiegen.

Rana Roja Lodge is an amazing and special place, hidden in the jungle where you can see and hear so much wildlife! The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet tasty (classic Costa Rican) and the rooms decent. You will need to take a taxi boat to access Tortuguero village but it is not inconvenient at all. First of all it is quite nice to escape the town center, but also the staff can call one and they come in five minutes (and the quick boat ride on the canal is always cool).

Friendly staff, nice place in nature, quick to get to town of Tortuguero with the Taxi, Little noisy because a lot of groups present, when many cellphones present in WiFi-Area, no more connection possible
