Welcome to paradise!
Jaba Jan is the perfect place to disconnect from the loud city life and reconnect with yourself, friends, and/or family. Here you can experience different types of nature. The hostel is surrounded by the jungle, and we have access to 5 private beaches and a river, right in our backyard. By kayak, you can access a magic mangrove, our secret peace of heaven on earth. By a little walk or swimming by the river, you can reach the river mouth, where the river meets the sea. On top of it, you can have a great view of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
We organize a lot of group activities, such as our classic pizza night, made in our traditional pizza oven. We also have yoga every morning and afternoon, and dance classes very often. It is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow travelers and spend a delightful time.
We have available breakfast, lunch, and dinner at a friendly price, always with vegetarian and vegan options, as well as a variety of drinks and snacks. There is a shared kitchen, fully equipped.
Find us just 3km away from Palomino, right after San Salvador´s river bridge.

perfect place to relax and calm down during your travels! great staff that is part of the hostel community. they are organizing community activities every now and then so its easy to get to know people. the location near the river and beach also is amazing. you can discover something new everyday

this is a little paradise. we originally booked 4 nights, ended up staying ~2 weeks. not only because of the nature, monkeys or river nearby, but especially because of dean, pedro, javid, kris and many more! you’re doing an amazing job! we felt home, like lots of other guests i suppose. won’t forget you and will always recommend jaba jan 🤍
