The Host was very friendly and showed us some nice places. On first sight the room looked very good. We had a room in the basement. after some time we noticed some mold on the walls and there was a bad and musty smell. There were a lot of ants and some cockroaches. The room itself was very dark and there were no lockers and no mosquito net. The common room itself was clean and looked like the pictures. The breakfast was also okay. We think the rooms upstairs might be much better(less humidity)

We had a nice stay at the hostel. It was kinda hard to find because there is not really a sign on the street or at the hostel, but we found it by asking. The host is so nice and you feel like living at a family’s home, because he is trying to fulfill all your desires and sometimes his cute dog Ro comes around to play. It’s a small property but nice if you like it calm! Thank you for all the amazing traveling tips in Sri Lanka!!

Just had a short stay in Kandy and the hostel was fine for this. The host was friendly and we chatted quite some time. Rooms are big enough and I got a ceiling fan, my stay was just fine.
