Es liegt gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof und Einkaufszentrum von Cairns, etwa 15 Gehminuten von der Esplanade und der Lagune entfernt. This unique chilled out hostel is set amongst a tropical garden with outdoor pool where guests can relax in hammocks and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere , clean and friendly with great personal staff makes Dreamtime one of a kind, not one of a chain.
All rooms are fan cooled with free bed linen. Guests have access to shared bathroom facilities. Air-conditioning is available for an additional cost. Free luggage storage is provided while on tours . All tours can be booked free off charge.
Two fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities are available.
License bar, free pool table, weekly BBQ and pizza nights with Free movies on a big screen.
Dreamtime hostel is located directly opposite Railway Station in 3 traditional Queensland homes, a short 15 minutes walk to the esplanade, swimming lagoon and the reef departures. Free transport to the boats .

This was my first hostel ever and i really loved staying here.
It is a short walk to the city, even a shorter walk to greyhoungstation and the Kuranda train.
Tim was super friendliy and helpful. I was qble to check in earlier then 10 what was great. The 4 bedroom woman dorm was great too. Friendly people everywhere and nice little pool.

It's a great hostel! One of my favorites on the east coast. Its very clean and very chill. No party hostel at all and still a great and relaxing vibe. The staff helped me out a lot. Didn't matter,if I had a problem or just needed recommendations to book a tour.They are super kind people. I can recommend to stay there.

Very clean hostel with a dreamy chillout area. Not a very social hostel though, lots of people working and no social activities whatsoever organized by the hostel. Our room was located near the kitchen and right in front of a wall/dining space which made out room very loud and dark. Also people sitting and walking past our room all the time. No wifi on rooms by purpose which i find really annoying. You‘re forced to have private calls with family in community areas where everyone can listen.
