Yamen (Former County Government) Hotel is located within the famous ancient city walls therefore many interesting sites are nearby.
The hotel is in the style of the traditional quadrangle guest house with lovely little courtyard. Clean and atmospheric, internet speed one of the fastest you can find in Pingyao.First class rooms are available for a little extra.
The host is Jason Lee who is an enthusiastic and friendly assistant manager of this place, with great English and willing to help with anything.
We provide many services, and even massages.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte in diesem alten Courtyard und die Atmosphäre passte sehr gut zu Pingyao. Natürlich war es sehr kalt, aber mit Hilfe der Heizung, der Klimaanlage und einer Heizdecke war es möglich, die Kälte weitestgehend draußen zu halten. Leider kam ein ekelhafter Gestank aus dem Bad, der aber, wenn man den extra dafür hinterlegten Deckel auf den Abfluss legte wieder verschwand. Das Personal war trotz mangelnder Englischkenntnisse immer sehr hilfsbereit. Stromausfall am letzten Tag.
